Another very successful edition of the Heritage Polo Cup went ahead between August 1st and 5th at the Hurtwood Park Polo Club, in England.
This was the event's seventh edition, of which Kenney Jones, former drummer of The Who, is the organizer.
The Silver Fox USA team claimed the title, while the La Mariposa Argentina team was the runner-up, followed by La Golondrina Argentina and Emerging Switzerland. Henry Fischer was elected as MVP, as part of the Silver Fox USA foursome.
There were also three ladies' teams taking part in the Ladies' Heritage Polo Cup, which was won by the Ladies of the British Empire team, followed by AMAZONS of POLO, and AMG PETROENERGY. Rosie Ross, forming part of the Ladies of the British Empire team, was chosen as the best player of the event.
The Heritage Polo program raised funds in support of Nero Asibelua, the Nigerian foundation which aims to improve living conditions for children, youngsters, families and artists of that country, focusing on education.
Given the huge success of this, a new edition of the event, plans have already begun for next year's edition.
