The La Dolfina – Aeropuertos Argentina 2000 team claimed the third edition of the Ibiza beach Polo Cup on Sunday, June 24th, by defeating Cioc Polo Team in the deciding match. Adolfo Cambiaso, Jr., Paolo Veronessi and Cedric Schweri were the winning team's line-up.

In the ladies' section, the Air Europa foursome claimed the Copa Aeropuertos Argentina 2000 by winning the final.

During this, the third edition of the event, the Ibiza Polo Club was officially inaugurated, this being the first polo venue in the Balearic Islands, with a good number of events already included in its seasonal calendar, such as the Sunset Beach Polo tournament, due to take place next October.
