Roberts Cup goes to Black Eagles foursome

Team undefeated in low-handicap event at Guards Polo Club

The final of the Roberts Cup, created in honour of Cyril Roberts, a long-serving Chief Steward at the Guards Polo Club, was played this Sunday (June 10th).

The Black Eagles foursome narrowly defeated Mad Dogs, 8-7, and claimed the title after having won each of the three matches it played in the event.

In what refers to subsidiary cup honours, Los Lobos defeated Dell Park 7-4. Twelve teams, with handicaps of 3 or 4 goals, took part in the event.
