The 2012 calendar for the Argentario Polo Club

Leading Italian venue's season starts July 20th

One of the leading venues in Italy, the Argentario Polo Club, has announced its 2012 calendar.

Proceedings were meant to kick off with the Silver Cup. However, due to the huge amount of tournaments that have taken place on its fields during the last three years, the club is having to go ahead with additional maintenance work on them, which means there will be no Silver Cup this year.

Which means that the start of the season will be on July 20th, with two tournaments: the Monte Argentario Gold Cup Pellicano Hotel (10-12 goals) and the fourth edition of the Pellicano Ladies Cup (0-2 goals). On July 26th the Summer Cup (4 to 6 goals) will be played, on August 1st the Coppa Italia F.I.S.E. (4 to 6 goals), and on September 21st, the International Polo Tournament (10 to 12 goals).
