The Nespresso 108th US Open final took place this Sunday (April 22nd) at the International Polo Club Palm Beach.

The Zacara team claimed the title, with Lyndon Lea (1), Christian "Magoo" Laprida (8), Facundo Pieres (10) and Mike Azzaro (7) in its line-up, defeating reigning champions Lechuza Caracas, with Víctor Vargas (1), Guillermo "Sapo" Caset (10), Juan Martín Nero (10) y Facundo Obregón (5), 10-8.

As expected, it turned out to be a hard-fought and even match, with Zacara beginning the final chukker 8-7 ahead. However, Facundo Pieres & Co. kept things under control, and finally clinched the title with a 10-8 win in this, the United States' leading tournament.

This was the first time that the Zacara team played a US Open final.
