Habtoor Polo Team's strong debut in President Polo Cup

Team defeats Sumaya in their first outing

Only one match took place at the Ghantoot Racing & Polo Club, corresponding to the HH President of the UAE Polo Cup –the region's leading tournament-, on Monday, March 19th.

The Habtoor and Sumaya outfits played their debut matches in the tournament, with Habtoor Polo Team overcoming their rivals 7-4. Patron of the tournament is HH Sheikh Falah Bin Zayed al Nahyan, the hosting venue's chairman.

Eight teams with handicaps of between 11 and 13 goals are taking part in the tournament, with some leading figures in the line-ups, such as Ignacio Heguy, and several up-and-coming players, such as Alfredo Capella and Francisco Elizalde.
