The Sampacho and La Natividad teams claimed the third edition of the Copa Novillitos Deutsche Bank, presented by Río Uruguay Seguros, in the Elders and Youngsters categories, respectively, which took place last weekend at the La Aguada Polo Club, in Open Door, on the outskirts of Buenos Aires.
There was a good number of teams participating in this tournament for kids, all of whom enjoyed a great day's polo at the premises of the Novillo Astrada family. With even more teams than in past occasions, the kids were divided into two categories: Youngsters (8 to 10 years) and Elders (11 to 13 years), with six and eight teams respectively.
Following the qualifying stage, Sampacho defeated Las Bétulas 3-1 in the Elders' final, while La Natividad defeated La Aguada II 3-2 in the Youngsters final.
During the prize-giving ceremony, in the Youngsters category, Santiago Lavallol (El Paraíso team) received the Premio Fair Play, and Javier Guerrero (La Aguada) was named MVP. In the Elders category, Tomás Pistone (El Molino) won the Premio Fair Play, while Mateo Lalor (Las Bétulas) was named MVP.
