Adolfo Cambiaso will be the main star in the Sunset Polo Cup at Ham next weekend

Adolfo Cambiaso will play at Ham Polo Club on July 1st

On July 1st, Gaucho will bring the essence of Argentina's national sport to Ham Polo Club, showcasing Argentine passion for polo at London's last surviving polo club.

Sunset Polo, in aid of the Fundación Ideas del Sur charity will see the world's best polo player Adolfo Cambiaso play on each of the three participating teams in a "round robin" match, playing in turn on the Gaucho / Veuve Clicquot, Camino Real and Horseware Ireland teams.

Adolfo will appear at Gaucho Sunset Polo for the second year, following his stunning performance as the Team Gaucho captain in a tightly fought match against Camino Real in 2010. The main match will start at 7pm.

Gates open at 5pm, with the event offering entertainment for all, with "have-a-go" polo sessions, bike polo matches, junior polo games and a tutored wine tasting by Gaucho's head sommelier. To round off the perfect summer day, Gaucho will host a glamorous after-party with live electro-tango music and Argentine asado. Guests will also have the chance to bid for money-can’t-buy prizes in an auction to raise money for the Fundación Ideas del Sur.
